 INTERNET OF THINGS        Embedded System :- Definition:- • An  Embedded System  is one that has computer hardware with software  embedded in it as one of its important components. • An embedded system is a  special-purpose  computer system designed to  perform one or a few dedicated / Specific functions • It is a system whose  principle function  is not computational, but which is  controlled by a computer embedded within it • An embedded system is any device that includes a  programmable computer  but is not itself a general-purpose computer. • An  application specific  electronic sub-system which is completely    encapsulated by the main system it belongs to.   Components of Embedded System :- •  CPU ( Microcontroller ) •  Software ( Embedded software ) •  Memory ( RAM , ROM ) •  FPGA / ASIC •  Sensors ( Temperature , pressure etc ) •  Actuators( Relays , Drivers etc ) •  ADC and DAC •  User interface •  Backup and Safety •  External Environm
